I am full blooded Italian with thick, long, naturally curly hair.
I hate it.
Everyone loves it.
I wish for my hair to be stick straight. Instead, it grows six inches in every direction like a Chia Pet on hot, humid days.
I hate washing it. I hate drying it. I hate styling it. Most of all, I hate brushing it.
UNTIL NOW! Hello Knot Genie!! You've granted me more than one wish!
I entered to win this little device through Crafts & Things, a creative blog with ideas about crafts and well, things. They even have giveaways! They were generous enough, with the Knot Genie, to promote a giveaway.
At first I thought "nothing but a rake can get through this hair! This will never work..."
WRONG! Not only does the Knot Genie work but it feels like that lucky day when you are at the salon and your stylist is carrying on and on about her weekend and she forgets that she is massaging your scalp and for that 2 minutes, you are in complete stress-free heaven! That's what I did this morning...massaged my scalp by combing the Genie through my hair more times than I should have. All of a sudden, I'm 5 minutes late for work!
Because I have naturally curly hair, I usually let my hair air dry and today was no different. I was a little concerned about whether or not the Knot Genie would produce different results to my hair than usual after it air dried. And, it did. POSITIVE RESULTS. My hair is curly BUT NOT frizzy! It took the frizz out! Hello!!! Goodbye Chia Pet, Hello Knot Genie!
I would love to try this product on my niece with the same type of hair style and strongly recommend this product for children AND adults. I love my Knot Genie and am so grateful to be given the opportunity to try it.
